 I know this looks horribly crude but it worked. I wanted to get a finish that looked weathered. I just put on one wash of the paint and left it at that. The result I think speaks for itself. The mechanism used for power is the Bachmann On30 Trolley one. The end weights are cut off. The unit is held in place with BlueTak or something similar. At the moment mine is held in place with some thick wax that the Doll House folk use for keeping things in place. |
